For CollecTin® Plus or More units intended for permanent use, this USB Cable for Static Installation replaces the boost battery in the handle with a direct USB connection. The cable is 3 meters long, providing ample reach for installation.

While the CollecTin® Plus or More can be left plugged in overnight, keeping it permanently connected will eventually cause the boost battery to fail due to the natural degradation of lithium batteries after hundreds of charge cycles.
To avoid this, we recommend using this USB Cable for Static Installation, which eliminates reliance on the boost battery for long-term operation.
