CollecTin Feature Focus #1: Create a Campaign List

When your charity or place of worship has more than one cause, project or appeal running at the same time you might want to give donors the power to choose where their money goes.

That’s exactly what Campaign Lists within your CollecTin More offers. Within the built-in Give A Little software the campaign list makes your device an even more flexible tool for fundraising.

In this first instalment of our CollecTin Feature Focus series, we’re putting the spotlight on this feature and will give you a step-by-step guide on how to these lists. 

Create a Campaign List

Also referred to within Give A Little as 'App Campaign Lists', these lists let your donors browse and select from multiple campaigns directly on your CollecTin More device.

What Is an App Campaign List?

An App Campaign List is a menu of campaigns displayed on your CollecTin More. Instead of showing a single campaign page, the device presents a choice - ideal for organisations with varied fundraising needs such as general giving, specific project appeals, seasonal campaigns, or building funds.

Before you create a list, you’ll first need to create the individual campaigns that will appear within it.

1. Creating Campaigns

To begin, log in to Give A Little on your computer:

Once logged in:

In the top navigation, select > Campaigns

This is where you can manage existing campaigns (> Manage) or create new ones.

To create a new campaign:

> Add New Campaign
> Select a type
   • Background → Select
   • Banner → Select
   • Basic → Select

When creating campaigns for use on your CollecTin More always choose ‘App’

Then > Select

Then simply follow the setup steps.

Once created, your new campaign will appear in a list when you select the Campaign section in the navigation.

2. Creating Campaign Lists

Once you’ve created all the campaigns you want donors to choose from, it’s time to build the actual list.

Navigate to:

> List
> Add New List
> List of App Campaigns > Select

… and follow the steps.

In step 2 of the setup, you’ll select the campaigns you want to display for donors. These will appear as a menu on your CollecTin More, letting supporters choose exactly where they want their donation to go.
